February 2012 2011 Wrap Up, and 2012 News!  
     
 
Our 2011 OLJ Spring Fundraiser raised almost $11,000. Your donations, along with the proceeds from the raffles allowed OLJ to donate $2500 to MDA for their research efforts, $2500 to Families of Spinal Muscular Atrophy for SMA research, $1500 to the MD Council of Special Equestrians, $500 to the Field Of Dreams baseball and softball programs, $600 to MD Special Olympics, $1000 to Autism Speaks and $2500 to The Bennett Blazers Sports Program for the Physically Challenged.

The fall golf outing at The Links @ Challedon netted over $9,000. This money was used to give additional funding to the organizations and programs mentioned above.

Thanks to all who made our fundraising efforts so successful. Special thanks to the individuals and corporations that donated items for our raffles: Baltimore Ravens, Baltimore Orioles, Philadelphia Phillies, Washington Capitals, Jason's Wine and Spirits, Kelsey's Irish Restaurant, The Big Screen Store, 4 Imprint, Facci Restaurant, Hard Rock Cafe, Yueungling Brewery, P.U.P.S. Dog Obedience Training Center, Brendan Pelan, Mike Healy, Kim and Rocco Vicchio, Mike Willis and Baltimore Ravens punter-Sam Koch.

Our 2012 spring fundraiser finale will be held at Kelsey's Irish Restaurant on Thursday, April 5th, 2012.

  Our Little Jewels Inc. is an IRS approved 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable organization.

The goal of Our Little Jewels is to provide financial support to programs offering activities for children with physical and mental disabilities as well as continual funding for the scientists and researchers that work so diligently in search of treatments, and hopefully someday, a cure for Spinal Muscular Atrophy and other muscular dystrophy diseases.

Our Little Jewels is dedicated to raising awareness of the struggles that the children with these diseases live with every day and the hardship it causes their families.

With your help, we can make their lives a little better.
