Our
Little Jewels, Inc. is an IRS approved 501( c ) ( 3) non-profit,
charitable organization.
Having no paid employees allows
us to distribute over 90% of the donations we collect, directly
to the programs and organizations that we have chosen to help
fund.
We will be providing financial support to the
following programs, while continuing to support the research
efforts of the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Families of
Spinal Muscular Atrophy and Autism Speaks.
These very
worthy programs are as follows:
1. The Bennett Blazers
Sports Program for the Physically Challenged. Gerry and Gwena
Herman, the directors, work with physically challenged children
through swimming, basketball, soccer, gymnastics and many other
programs that help develop self esteem and social and physical
skills that were previously unknown to many of these children.
2. The MD Council for Special Equestrians. This program is
located at The Patapsco Horse Farm in Catonsville, MD. and
offers therapeutic horseback riding for children with physical
and mental disabilities.
3. Maryland Special Olympics,
which brings the adventure and value of sport to people with
intellectual disabilities.
With our support, these
programs will be able to keep registration fees to a minimum and
will be able to purchase new and better equipment.

fund these programs that are so beneficial for these children.
